After the owner had finished Investigating the Skins and Hides Manufactures value chain in South Africa and in other countries such as BRICS, She finally produced a Feasibility study report with her previous Economic Development Consulting Firm for the Department of Trade and Industry.

Her Economic development knowledge about the Sector brought her the edge to immediately add value to our local GDP by producing leather products using our locally produced raw material.

The owner who is now the Lead Designer is very passionate about the Leather Manufacturing Sector in South Africa.

Her thought of all the women and men who lost their jobs in the Manufacturing industry during the recession 2009 inspired her to establish her own Leather Goods Manufacturing Company.

LERATOLETHATO was born at her previous home car garage in Vredehoek in April 2011 and is based in No: 7 1st Floor Abberly Building, 45 Station Road observatory, Cape Town 7925.
LERATOLETHATO is owned by Nthabiseng Lephoko who is a seasoned entrepreneur, designer and facilitator.
She was selected as one of the Fourteen Leading Women Handcraft Entrepreneurs in Africa by Vital Voice based in Washington DC USA.
   
And She will be launching her new furniture range at the IFFT 2014 in Japan.
